What a nightmare! We were down the entire weekend and we almost took the site over to hostgator however, it was just a huge hassle getting the SSL transfered over so we decided to stay with our host.
btw, you can sign on with hostgator for 1 penny, just look around and do a search for "hostgator coupons codes", there's a bunch of them from 20% off to the one I just mentioned which takes $9.94 off your first months' fee.
